Only a number of locations in the world are noted to be fashion capitals in their respective regions. This does not mean that fashion trends or concepts will only be based on what are being sold or manufactured in these areas. There is no more need for a person to relocate to a foreign land just to earn his or her degree in fashion design.

At present, not all prominent fashion designers around the world have earned a degree course in fashion design. There are several of these internationally renowned designers do wish that they had the proper training before they have ventured into the fashion industry. It is to note that it is not easy to break in this industry regardless of the location or the market that the novice fashion designer might be eyeing to penetrate. There are still a number of veteran fashion designers that have not been able to penetrate the mainstream fashion industry that is being renowned internationally.
